MERN Stack Developer

Job Title: MERN Stack Developer (3 Years Experience with AWS)

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced MERN Stack Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in building robust web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack and deploying/maintaining applications on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack.

Build reusable components and front-end libraries using React.js.

Design and implement RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express.js.

Manage and query data in MongoDB with optimal schema design.

Deploy and monitor applications using AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.).

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.

Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and technical discussions.

Write unit and integration tests for robust code quality.

Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, and React.js.

Solid experience with Express.js and MongoDB.

Understanding of component-based architecture and state management (Redux or Context API).

Strong understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous request handling.

Experience in deploying and managing applications on AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, CloudFront, Lambda).

Familiarity with DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker is a plus).

Good understanding of Git and version control systems.

Basic knowledge of security best practices (e.g., authentication, authorization, HTTPS, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with TypeScript.

Knowledge of serverless architecture.

Experience with third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, OAuth, etc.).

Familiarity with agile methodologies and Jira/Trello tools.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
