Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute buying strategies based on market trends, customer preferences, and sales data.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for the materials. Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to ensure competitive costs and favorable terms.
• Coordinate and conduct meetings with existing and potential vendors to discuss material specifications, pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop merchandising plans and promotional strategies.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to develop new product lines or improve existing products. Provide input on product design, features, and specifications to meet customer needs and preferences.
• Monitor inventory levels, track product performance, and identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for product assortment expansion, pricing adjustments, and promotional campaigns.
• Analyze sales data, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of merchandising strategies and initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, Fashion Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in merchandising, sourcing, and buying, with specific experience in the bag industry is a plus.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
