Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out client assessments and risk assessments and document.
- Counsel clients about their mental health using recognized theoretical frameworks and the Samarpan treatment model.
- Provide group therapy.
- Provide 1:1 therapy.
- Deliver psycho-educational workshops and facilitate skills training, and other group activities.
- Create and review individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the clients.
- Produce and update client files and case notes.
- Liaise with other relevant professionals about clients.
- Facilitate family/couples sessions
- Attend team meetings
- Attend weekly case management meetings
- Attend clinical supervision, line management reviews and staff support sessions.
- Refer clients to appropriate services, should they fall out of scope of practice.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
- MA in Psychology or M.Phil. Clinical Psychology (preferred)
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and customer relation skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Good practice case management including quality record keeping.
- Understanding of cultural context and expectations.
Preferred:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (we are currently not hiring for the fresh graduates)
- Experience of working in multi disciplinary teams
- Candidates with established expertise in particular treatment modalities or specialized areas of mental health care will be strongly preferred.
