Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Interact with clients to understand project requirements and problem statements.
- Convert concepts and requirements into functional product designs.
- Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using CAD software, FDM/SLA, 3D printing, sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, vacuum casting/laser cutting/other manufacturing methods.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for fabrication.
- Test, evaluate, and iterate product designs.
- Ensure timely delivery of finished products to clients.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently and handle work pressure.
- Maintain documentation, BOMs, revision logs, and project trackers.
- Support the senior design and engineering team as required.
- Knowledge of tolerances, DFM, and engineering fundamentals.
