Key Responsibilities
- Design and integrate propulsion, actuation, and power transmission systems
- Develop mechanical systems for thrusters, control surfaces, and motion mechanisms
- Perform mechanical testing, validation, and analysis to ensure durability and performance
- Collaborate with electrical and sensor teams for system integration
- Create, review, and refine mechanical designs and prototypes
- Support prototype development, field trials, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Ensure compliance with performance, reliability, and safety standards
Required Skills & Competencies
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design for robotics or similar domains
- Hands-on expertise in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and simulation tools
- Proficiency in designing propulsion systems, motors, actuators, and mechanical linkages
- Understanding of fluid dynamics and operating forces in complex environments
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills
Education & Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Aerospace Engineering / related field
