Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Mechanical Engineer at our Hyderabad location. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing mechanical components, creating CAD models, conducting research and development, and overseeing project management tasks. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and efficient EV charging solutions.

Salary Range: 3 - 5 Lakhs per Annum based on the candidate.

Qualifications

• Lead casting design for EV charger enclosures used as primary heat sinks.
• Own thermal design including heat paths, fin design, and component mounting.
• Perform thermal validation using CAE/CFD analysis and correlate with measurements.
• Define PCB-to-casting thermal interfaces using TIMs and mounting strategy.
• Own tooling development for die-casting and molded parts.
• Create and maintain all production drawings for released products.
• Prepare assembly drawings, exploded views, and BOMs.
• Develop harness, cable, and interconnect drawings.
• Define and support mechanical testing including vibration, drop, durability, and harness reliability.
• Work closely with the hardware team for mechanical and thermal integration.
• Coordinate with tooling vendors and casting suppliers.
• Validate fitment, thermal performance, and manufacturability.
• Support pilot builds and production release.
• Maintain revision control and documentation for all drawings.
