MEP Engineer – Job Description

Position: MEP Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Engineer responsible for execution, coordination, supervision, and monitoring of overall MEP works at site. Candidate should have strong knowledge of Electrical, ELV, HVAC, Fire Fighting, and PHE systems along with billing, drawing review, and documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise HT & LT electrical works at site.
• Knowledge of ELV systems including FA, PA, Access Control, Networking, CCTV, and BMS systems.
• HVAC knowledge required; Electrical background candidates should have basic HVAC understanding, while Mechanical background candidates should have experience in AHU and VRV/VRF system testing & commissioning.
• Basic knowledge and installation understanding of Fire Fighting systems.
• Knowledge of internal and external plumbing/PHE works.
• Review MEP drawings and coordinate execution as per approved drawings and project specifications.
• Handle site measurements, billing process, and certification documentation.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and work records.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Monitor site progress, quality, and safety compliance.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of MEP site execution and coordination.
• Ability to handle multiple MEP activities independently.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office preferred.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Qualification

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred Candidate

• Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or interior projects preferred.
• Candidate should be capable of independently managing site execution and coordination activities.
