Role Overview: MEP Design Engineer – BIM & Coordination

At Blueprints Design, we don't just model MEP systems — we actively contribute to how building services are designed, coordinated, and delivered on-site.

We are looking for MEP Design Engineers who have strong engineering fundamentals and are comfortable working in BIM environments like Revit.

This role goes beyond modeling — you will be involved in design development, system coordination, and ensuring practical, constructible solutions across projects.

Key Responsibilities -

• Contribute to MEP system design development (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, IBMS)

• Translate design intent into coordinated BIM models and detailed drawings

• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks and BIM workflows

• Work closely with Architectural, Structural, and project teams to resolve coordination challenges

• Review design inputs and identify design gaps, conflicts, and optimization opportunities

• Participate in design discussions, coordination meetings, and decision-making processes

• Ensure systems are practical, efficient, and aligned with site execution requirements

• Maintain model quality, standards, and compliance with codes and project requirements

• Support preparation of shop drawings, BOQs, and coordinated construction documentation

• Contribute to improving BIM workflows, standards, and engineering coordination processes

Qualifications & Skills -

• Bachelor's degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

• 02–05 years of experience in MEP design and/or BIM-based MEP projects

• Strong understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting system design principles

• Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD

• Ability to interpret and develop MEP design concepts and layouts

• Understanding of BIM coordination, LOD requirements, and documentation workflows

• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

• Good communication and coordination skills
