Matillion Developer

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Matillion Developer to join our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team. This role involves designing and implementing robust ETL pipelines using Matillion on AWS, integrating diverse data sources into Snowflake, and supporting the data needs of analytics, reporting, and business intelligence teams.

Key Responsibilities:

ETL Development & Orchestration:

Build, schedule, and monitor ETL workflows using Matillion ETL for Snowflake.

Develop reusable components and parameterized jobs for scalable data integration.

Cloud Data Integration:

Integrate structured data from AWS S3, and other sources.

Implement data ingestion strategies for batch and near-real-time processing.

Data Modelling & Warehousing:

Design and maintain dimensional models and star/snowflake schemas.

Support data warehouse architecture and performance optimization.

Automation & Monitoring:

Set up automated job triggers, error handling, and alerting using AWS services (CloudWatch, Lambda, SNS).

Implement logging and auditing mechanisms for data pipeline traceability.

Collaboration & Documentation:

Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements.

Document ETL processes, data flows, and technical specifications.
