Position: Math Tutor
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Math Tutor to teach U.S.-based students in live online classrooms. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Mathematics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make learning interactive and enjoyable for young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Math concepts aligned with U.S. curriculum standards .
- Use interactive methods to simplify complex topics and build strong problem-solving skills.
- Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain performance records.
- Conduct Catch-up Sessions or Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) when required.
- Collaborate with curriculum and operations teams to ensure smooth class delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of teaching/tutoring experience in Math (online teaching preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to engage, manage, and motivate young learners in an online environment.
- Stable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free teaching setup.
Work Timings [ Mandatory Availability]
Regular Schedule (Nov – Mar):
- Weekdays (Tue–Fri): 03:30 AM – 09:30 AM IST (5 slots)
- Weekends (Sat–Sun): 08:30 PM – 12:30 AM IST (4 slots)
- Catch-ups/PTM: 04:30 AM – 08:30 AM IST
Daylight Saving Schedule (Mar – Nov):
- Weekdays (Tue–Fri): 02:30 AM – 08:30 AM IST (5 slots)
- Weekends (Sat–Sun): 07:30 PM – 11:30 PM IST (4 slots)
- Catch-ups/PTM: 04:30 AM – 08:30 AM IST
Non-Teaching hours:
Tue- Fri: 9:30 AM- 11: 30 AM.
