We're looking for Mathematics experts with Master's or PhD-level credentials to work alongside leading AI research teams, helping build and refine the next generation of AI models. Your expertise will be at the core of making AI smarter, more rigorous, and genuinely capable of advanced mathematical reasoning.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience needed — just deep mathematical knowledge and a sharp eye for precision.

What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and critically review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance
- Apply your expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related areas to design rigorous, complex problem sets
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to strengthen AI model reasoning capabilities
- Evaluate AI-generated mathematical outputs for correctness, depth, and logical soundness
- Ensure mathematical rigor, clarity, and precision across all deliverables
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Holds a Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
- Deep expertise in one or more of: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics
- Comfortable working with Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or problem-solving
- Exceptionally detail-oriented — you notice when a proof doesn't hold or a solution cuts corners
- Strong written communicator who can explain complex concepts clearly and concisely
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
- Background in mathematical research, academic publishing, or technical writing
- Familiarity with AI tools or machine learning concepts as an end user
- Experience designing or grading advanced problem sets in an academic context
