Master Data Management

·    Vendor Master Governance

o  Review and approve complex vendor master creation/changes (domestic & international vendors).

o  Ensure compliance with tax regulations (W8 & W9 forms)and banking validation.

o  Perform duplicate analysis and vendor rationalization.

o  Support vendor onboarding controls and segregation of duties (SoD).

o  Drive continuous improvement in vendor master processes.

o  Ensure standardization of naming conventions and data attributes.

·    Item (Material/Product) Master Governance

o  Oversee creation and maintenance of item master data including valuation class.

o  Validate financial and controlling impacts of master data changes.

·    Data Quality & Controls

o  Lead periodic data audits and reconciliation activities.

o  Act as POC for handling any internal queries and escalations

o  Define and monitor KPIs for data quality (accuracy, completeness, turnaround time).

o  Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX (if applicable), and audit requirements.

o  Handle escalations and resolve high-risk data issues.

o  Maintain SLA adherence and governance reporting.

·    Process Improvement & Mentorship

o  Mentor and review work of analysts/associates.

o  Develop and update SOPs and control documentation.
