As the
Marketing Specialist, you will support the delivery of integrated marketing activity across the organization, working closely with the marketing team in the Basel, Switzerland office. The role has a strong focus on analyzing marketing performance data to understand what is working well and where improvements can be made. The Marketing Specialist will regularly review campaign, digital, email and social media data, interpret results, and share clear insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
The person that takes on this role should be a motivated, hands-on marketing professional who enjoys working with data, can manage their own workload, and is keen to develop their skills in a collaborative, mission-driven organization.
As the
Marketing Specialist, you will:
- Support the planning, execution and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, paid and social channels.
- Independently manage assigned marketing activities, ensuring timelines, deliverables and quality standards are met.
- Monitor, analyze and interpret marketing performance data across campaigns, the website, email, social media platforms, and other digital channels.
- Prepare regular performance reports and summaries, highlighting insights, trends and recommendations for improvement.
- Track and optimize campaign performance, making data-informed adjustments to improve engagement and results.
- Execute digital marketing activity, including paid media, organic activities, SEO and retargeting, in line with agreed plans.
- Manage email marketing campaigns and landing pages in HubSpot, including list management, segmentation, personalization and performance tracking.
- Plan, schedule and publish social media content, monitoring engagement and reporting on performance.
- Maintain and update website content ensuring accuracy, consistency and basic SEO best practices.
- Work closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure consistent branding, messaging and execution quality.
To join us, you should have:
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Practical experience in marketing or digital marketing, with responsibility for executing campaigns or marketing activities.
- Experience analyzing marketing performance data and using insights to inform decisions and improvements.
- Hands-on experience with marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics and HubSpot. Experience with Sitecore is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with graphic design tools such as Canva or Photoshop.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools, such as Asana.
- Experience supporting or managing email marketing campaigns, including basic segmentation and performance tracking.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms and experience scheduling and monitoring content.
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and deliver tasks to deadlines.
