Job Description

The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for driving efficiency, scalability, and performance of marketing initiatives through data, technology, and process optimization. This role acts as the backbone of the marketing team, ensuring campaigns are executed effectively, tracked accurately, and aligned with business goals.

Job Location: Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy & Planning
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute marketing plans aligned with business objectives
  • Manage campaign calendars, budgets, and timelines
  • Ensure alignment between marketing, sales, and business development teams
  • Team Management & Work Monitoring
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing operations team
  • Assign tasks, set clear deliverables, and track daily/weekly progress
  • Monitor team performance, productivity, and deadlines
  • Conduct regular reviews, feedback sessions, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure accountability and adherence to defined processes and timelines
  • Campaign Operations
  • Plan, execute, and monitor multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, offline, events)
  • Ensure smooth coordination between internal teams and external agencies
  • Track campaign performance and optimize for ROI
  • Marketing Technology & Tools
  • Manage CRM systems
  • Oversee marketing automation platforms and tools
  • Ensure proper integration of marketing tech stack with sales systems
  • Data Analytics & Reporting
  • Define KPIs and track marketing performance metrics.
  • Generate dashboards and reports for leadership.
  • Analyze lead, conversion funnels, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Process Optimization
  • Standardize marketing workflows and SOPs.
  • Improve lead management processes (lead capture, nurturing, scoring).
  • Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
  • Budget & Vendor Management
  • Manage marketing budgets and track expenditures.
  • Coordinate with vendors, agencies, and partners.
  • Evaluate ROI on marketing investments.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales, Product, and Business Development teams.
  • Ensure seamless handover of qualified leads to sales.
  • Support product launches and go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • MBA (Marketing) preferred

Experience

  • 58 years of experience in marketing operations / digital marketing / campaign management

  • Experience in B2B/ B2G (Business-to-Government) marketing environments
  • Experience in tech, robotics, infrastructure, or industrial domain is an advantage
