Marketing Manager - Shopping Mall
Position Overview
The Marketing Manager will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive foot traffic, increase tenant sales, and enhance the overall shopping experience at our retail property. This role combines traditional marketing expertise with retail real estate knowledge to maximize occupancy rates and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Planning Develop annual marketing plans aligned with leasing goals and tenant needs. Create seasonal campaigns, promotional calendars, and special events that drive consistent traffic throughout the year. Analyze market trends, demographics, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
Event Management & Programming Plan and execute large-scale events, seasonal celebrations, and community programming that positions the mall as a destination. Coordinate with tenants for joint promotional opportunities and manage vendor relationships for entertainment, dcor, and activations.
Digital Marketing & Social Media Manage the mall's digital presence across social media platforms, website, and email marketing campaigns. Develop content strategies that showcase tenant offerings, promote events, and engage the local community. Oversee digital advertising campaigns and analyze performance metrics.
Tenant Relations & Co-Marketing Build strong relationships with retail tenants to understand their marketing needs and create collaborative promotional opportunities. Develop co-op advertising programs and provide marketing support that helps tenants succeed, ultimately supporting lease renewals and attracting new retailers.
Brand Management & Communications Maintain consistent brand messaging across all marketing materials and communications. Manage relationships with media outlets, coordinate press releases, and serve as a spokesperson for mall initiatives. Ensure all marketing efforts reflect the property's positioning and target audience.
