2. The Role

We are seeking a data-driven, high-energy Marketing Manager to lead our Growth, Lead Generation, and User Communication efforts. In this role, you will own the top and middle of the funnel driving high-quality MQLs and SQLs while also managing key lifecycle communication channels such as email campaigns and in-app messaging.

You will own strategy + execution for paid acquisition, SEO, integrated campaigns, and customer communication, with a relentless focus on scaling Glood.ai's presence within the Shopify ecosystem.

3. Key Responsibilities

Growth & Lead Generation

  • Own lead generation strategy across paid, organic, outbound, and partner channels.
  • Optimize CAC, pipeline conversions, and lead quality metrics.
  • Drive experimentation across funnels (LPs, creatives, CTAs, offers, content).

User Communication & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Own email communication strategy: onboarding flows, product updates, newsletters, and lifecycle campaigns.
  • Set up and run drip campaigns to improve activation, retention, and feature adoption.
  • Collaborate on in-app announcements, upgrade nudges, and targeted communication flows.
  • Track communication performance (open rates, CTRs, conversions) and optimize for engagement.

Paid Media Management (Performance Marketing)

  • Plan and execute campaigns across Google Search/Display, Meta, and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Track ROI and maintain a healthy CAC through daily budget monitoring.
  • Continuously A/B test ad copy, visual assets, and landing pages.

SEO & Organic Growth

  • Research and implement SEO strategies targeting high-intent commerce & Shopify keywords.
  • Work with the content team to optimize blogs, case studies, and product pages.
  • Improve technical SEO, site health, and backlink performance to grow domain authority.

Campaign Orchestration

  • Launch multi-channel campaigns (webinars, whitepapers, co-marketing) to generate demand.
  • Create sales enablement assets such as pitch decks, messaging frameworks, and ROI calculators.
  • Support retention through communication loops using email + in-app messaging.

4. Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 35 years in B2B SaaS marketing. Shopify/D2C/e-commerce enablement experience is a strong bonus.
  • Tools: Hands-on with Google Ads, GA4, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, HubSpot/Salesforce, email automation tools.
  • Email/Lifecycle Skills: Prior experience running email campaigns, lifecycle flows, onboarding sequences, and CRM messaging.
  • SEO Skills: Proven record of organic growth using Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong with data, reporting, and performance optimization.
  • Communication: Strong copywriting for ads, landing pages, and email communication.
  • Mindset: Growth-driven, comfortable experimenting, learning fast, and scaling what works.
