We are looking for a driven Marketing Lead to join our team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience in marketing within the engineering or construction sector.
- Experience working in an engineering consultancy preferred.
Key Skills & Tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent design tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CRM and project tracking platforms (e.g. MEED, Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Experience managing websites (CMS platforms such as WordPress) and social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong copywriting, proofreading, and editing abilities.
Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Directors, Project Managers and Clients.
- Act as a brand ambassador for 9E at all times; represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
- Support the business development pipeline by preparing high-quality marketing materials, capability statements, and client-facing presentations.
- Research market trends, competitor activity, and project opportunities to provide actionable intelligence to senior leadership.
- Assist in developing and executing targeted campaigns to attract new clients and strengthen relationships with existing ones.
- Identify award, sponsorship, and press opportunities that raise the company's profile in the market.
Project Role
- Support the preparation and coordination of bid and tender documents in collaboration with the Bid Coordinator and Project Managers.
- Compile, format, and quality-check proposal responses to ensure brand compliance and professional presentation standards.
- Coordinate submissions with Project Managers and ensure all marketing inputs meet agreed deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of project profiles, CVs, and capability documents for inclusion in bids and prequalification submissions.
- Follow up on submitted tenders and maintain an up-to-date tracker of tender outcomes and client feedback.
- Monitor and update the MEED database and other project tracking tools to identify new business opportunities
Company Role
Content & Communications
- Prepare, write, and distribute internal and external marketing content, including brochures, newsletters, press releases, case studies, and social media posts.
- Maintain and regularly update the company website – write, format, and upload new project information, news, and team profiles.
- Prepare and maintain company introduction presentations in PowerPoint, ensuring content is current and brand-compliant.
- Research and source relevant material for features in technical and industry magazines.
- Compile and distribute the fortnightly internal employee newsletter.
Brand & Design
- Use and maintain the 9E Design Toolbox; adhere to Brand Guidelines and contribute to the development of future brand standards.
- Manage online and hard-copy marketing materials, ensuring all assets are current, consistent, and professionally presented.
- Prepare artwork and coordinate advertisements in selected trade and industry publications where required.
- Show initiative in company image improvement and brand integration across all touchpoints.
Events & Client Relations
- Plan, coordinate, and execute client events, exhibitions, and sponsorships – including bookings, stand/poster design, logistics, and post-event follow-up. (Golf day, Technical Seminar, Dinner, etc).
- Identify relevant industry award opportunities and prepare nomination documents.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth client database; support initiatives to acquire new clients and deepen existing relationships.
- Assist in organising team social events and promote internal engagement activities across all 9E offices.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor and analyse competitor activity and regional market trends; prepare and present market assessment and intelligence reports to leadership.
- Assist in monitoring marketing budgets against commercial objectives and report on campaign performance metrics.
- Liaise with the wider 9E offices to market and promote new initiatives and cross-regional achievements.
PR & Campaigns
- Develop PR campaigns and initiatives for specific disciplines, projects, or company milestones as required.
- Coordinate with Directors and Associate Directors on discipline-specific and client presentations; assist with preparation and formatting in PowerPoint.
- Manage digital marketing activities including social media scheduling, LinkedIn content, and email campaigns.
QHSE Responsibilities
- Understand, implement and follow 9E QHSE policies.
- Implement and coordinate QHSE procedures in your workplace.
- Comply with local regulatory authority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
- Report any QHSE incidents immediately to 9E QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
- Abide Client/Contractor QHSE requirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
