Type: Full-time Internship
Duration: 3–6 months
About PetroyalePetroyale is a fast-growing pet care brand building products that make pets healthier, happier and easier to care for.
We're building a modern, global pet brand across supplements, grooming, treats, toys and everyday pet care—and we're already selling across multiple markets.
We're looking for a Marketing Intern who is curious, creative, internet-native and excited to learn how a real D2C brand is built.
This is not a make a few Canva posts and schedule them internship. You'll work closely with the marketing team and get hands-on exposure to content, social media, creators, performance marketing, brand building and e-commerce.
What You'll DoContent & Social Media
- Help ideate and execute content for Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and other social platforms
- Research trending content formats, memes, hooks and trends
- Develop creative concepts, scripts, captions and content briefs
- Help manage Petroyale's social media calendar
- Track what content is performing and identify opportunities to improve
Influencer & Creator Marketing
- Research relevant pet creators and influencers
- Reach out to creators and coordinate collaborations
- Help manage creator campaigns and track deliverables
- Study successful creator content and identify formats we can replicate
- Build and maintain a database of potential creators
Marketing & Brand Building
- Research competitors, new brands and emerging trends in the pet-care industry
- Help develop campaigns and marketing initiatives
- Assist with product launches and promotional campaigns
- Come up with creative ideas to make Petroyale more memorable
- Conduct customer and market research
Performance & E-commerce Marketing
- Assist the team with Meta and Google advertising
- Monitor basic campaign metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPM and ROAS
- Help analyse Amazon and Shopify performance
- Assist with improving product listings, creatives and promotional campaigns
General Marketing
- Support the marketing team across ongoing projects
- Work with designers, creators and other team members
- Prepare marketing reports and presentations
- Take ownership of small projects from idea → execution → analysis
You don't need years of experience. We care more about your curiosity, speed and ability to figure things out.
You could be a great fit if you:
- Are genuinely interested in marketing, brands and social media
- Spend way too much time on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube—and understand what makes content work
- Are creative and constantly coming up with ideas
- Have strong communication skills
- Are comfortable researching and learning independently
- Have an eye for good content and design
- Are comfortable with Canva, Google Sheets and basic digital tools
- Are willing to experiment, make mistakes and learn quickly
- Take ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do
- Previous internship/project experience in marketing or social media
- Experience running an Instagram page or creating content
- Knowledge of Meta Ads or Google Ads
- Experience with influencer/creator marketing
- Basic understanding of D2C or e-commerce
- Canva, CapCut or other content creation skills
- A genuine love for dogs/cats
