Job Description

Role: Marketing Intern (6-Month Exploration Program)

Team: Marketing

Location: India (Hybrid / Flexible)

Experience: 03 years (or exceptional freshers)

Why This Role Exists

At Discover Dollar, events and field marketing have been a major growth lever. But we believe great marketers aren't discovered by forcing them into one lane early.

This role is designed for someone who wants to explore multiple marketing disciplines hands-on before specializing.

Over 6 Months, You'll Rotate Across

  • Event & Field Marketing
  • Growth Marketing
  • Product Marketing

At the end of this period, based on strength, interest, and business impact, you'll transition into a full-time specialized role.

What You'll Do (Over 6 Months)

This is not theoretical. You'll work on real GTM problems.

  • Event & Field Marketing (Core Focus)
  • Support planning and execution of B2B events, roundtables, and conferences
  • Work on attendee targeting, partner coordination, and on-ground execution
  • Learn how events drive pipeline, not just brand
  • Track event ROI and post-event follow-ups
  • Growth Marketing (Exploration)
  • Experiment with new demand channels (LinkedIn, email, partnerships, content-led growth)
  • Assist in campaign setup, landing pages, and basic funnel tracking
  • Identify what channels might scale for us and what won't
  • Learn how inbound, outbound, and events connect into one funnel
  • Product Marketing (Exploration)
  • Help with messaging for new features or use cases
  • Assist in customer research, sales enablement, and pitch decks
  • Work closely with sales to understand objections and buying triggers
  • Learn how positioning impacts pipeline quality

How the 6-Month Program Works

Month 12

  • Broad exposure across all three areas
  • Heavy learning + execution support

Month 34

  • Deeper ownership in 12 areas based on early signals

Month 56

  • Clear ownership + impact
  • Decision on specialization:
  • Field / Event Marketing
  • Growth Marketing
  • Product Marketing

Successful candidates will move into a full-time role aligned to their strengths.

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Interest in B2B, SaaS, and enterprise buyers
  • Prior marketing internships/projects are a plus, not mandatory
