The Role
Our client is seeking a Marketing Head in the Manufacturing division.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a global team, providing top-tier service to existing and prospective clients while expanding the business on a product and global level.
The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients, managing existing relationships, and contributing to the company's mission of becoming a Top Clearer worldwide in commodity markets.
Role & Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute regional marketing strategies aligned with the organisation's global brand vision.
- Localize global marketing campaigns for relevance in Indian and Surrounding Country (Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh & Nepal) markets.
Market Intelligence & Consumer Insight
- Conduct regular market scans to track competitor activity, pricing, and trends.
- Commission consumer research to uncover unmet needs and design preferences.
- Translate insights into actionable strategies for product, pricing, and promotion to uncover opportunities.
Brand Management
- Build and strengthen brand equity of the organisation in the region.
- Define and evolve the brand's identity to reflect premium design, sustainability, innovation and quality.
- Develop differentiated value propositions for B2B (architects, dealers, developers) and B2C (end consumers) segments
- Ensure consistent brand positioning across all customer touchpoints B2C, B2B, and digital.
Integrated Marketing Communication
- Oversee 360-degree campaigns across ATL, BTL, and digital platforms.
- Manage PR, influencer collaborations, and strategic partnerships with designers, architects, and developers.
- Collaborate with product and sales teams to launch new collections with impact.
- Coordinate with global HQ for alignment and approvals on key brand communication.
Digital & Performance Marketing
- Lead digital transformation initiatives including website localization, SEO/SEM, and performance media.
- Optimize digital presence across marketplaces, brand website, and dealer microsites
- Leverage analytics to improve ROI and customer acquisition cost
- Supervise social media strategies tailored to premium Indian and Surrounding Country (Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh & Nepal) segments and channels
- Track KPIs like lead generation, traffic, and digital engagement.
Channel & Trade Marketing
- Design channel-specific campaigns for dealers, retailers, and premium distributors.
- Develop POS materials and retail marketing strategy, especially for experience centers and partner showrooms.
- Support institutional sales with customized presentation, tools, and pitch kits.
Team Leadership & Budgeting
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional marketing team across India and Surrounding Country (Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh & Nepal)
- Foster cross functional collaboration with sales, product, design, and supply chain.
- Manage external agencies creative, media, PR, research, and digital with clear KPIs.
- Oversee marketing budgets and use KPIs and analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, drive continuous improvement, and maximize ROI.
Surrounding Country (Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh & Nepal) Market Expansion
- Understand and navigate unique regulatory, cultural, and economic landscapes of countries like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, etc.
- Set tailored marketing strategies for each country depending on brand maturity and market dynamics.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 10-15 years of senior marketing experience, ideally in premium consumer goods, design, or sustainability-driven industries.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and project management capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Proficient with digital marketing platforms, CRM, and analytics tools.
