Head Hunter India is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Marketing & Sales to spearhead business growth in the Masterbatches, Chemicals, and Polymers sector. We're looking for a leader with a strong background in chemical engineering or polymers and a proven track record of managing successful sales and marketing strategies across both domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive significant revenue growth and increase market share for masterbatches, chemicals, and polymers.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities in both domestic and international markets, creating tailored strategies for each region.
Market Expansion
- Lead market research initiatives to identify emerging trends, understand evolving customer needs, and analyze competitive landscapes.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, distributors, and customers in targeted regions.
Team Management
- Oversee and mentor the sales and marketing teams, ensuring their efforts are fully aligned with organizational goals.
- Set clear performance metrics and provide regular feedback to drive team productivity and success.
Operational Excellence
- Utilize SAP or similar ERP systems to streamline sales and marketing operations, ensuring maximum efficiency.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, meticulous budgeting, and precise reporting of sales performance to inform strategic decisions.
Product Expertise and Customer Engagement
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of polymers, chemicals, and masterbatches to offer valuable technical insights and provide effective solutions to customers.
- Represent the company professionally at key industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to significantly enhance brand visibility.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
- Expertise in the technical aspects of polymers, chemicals, and their applications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the proven ability to interpret complex market trends and data.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Graduate / Post-Graduate (B.Sc.,/M.Sc./M.Tech.) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is mandatory. An MBA or PGDM is an added advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 17-24 years of experience in sales and marketing within the chemicals, masterbatches, or polymers industry.
- Proven track record of success in managing both domestic and international markets.
