Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Marketing Head to lead brand building, portfolio strategy, and consumer engagement initiatives across India. The role will be responsible for driving brand equity, market positioning, innovation, and integrated marketing campaigns to accelerate business growth in the highly competitive alcoholic beverages industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy & Positioning
  • Develop and execute long-term brand strategy aligned with company vision and growth objectives.
  • Define brand architecture, positioning, and communication frameworks across portfolio.
  • Drive premiumization and differentiation strategies in the alcobev segment.
  • Integrated Marketing & Campaign Management
  • Lead 360 marketing campaigns across digital, social, influencer, experiential, and trade channels.
  • Conceptualize and execute high-impact consumer engagement programs.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Product & Portfolio Management
  • Drive innovation pipeline including new product launches, line extensions, and packaging upgrades.
  • Conduct market research and consumer insight analysis to guide product strategy.
  • Monitor product performance and lifecycle management.
  • Trade Marketing & On-Ground Activations
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to design impactful trade marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee POSM strategy, visibility programs, and premium outlet branding.
  • Ensure alignment between marketing strategy and on-trade/off-trade execution.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting
  • Analyze market trends, pricing, competitor activity, and consumer preferences.
  • Review MIS, sales dashboards, and forecast demand accurately.
  • Provide strategic inputs for pricing, promotions, and portfolio expansion
  • Digital & Consumer Engagement
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives and performance marketing strategy.
  • Drive social media presence, influencer collaborations, and brand storytelling.
  • Track campaign ROI and optimize performance metrics.
  • Budgeting & ROI Management
  • Develop and manage annual marketing budgets.
  • Optimize spends across ATL, BTL, digital, and experiential channels.
  • Ensure measurable ROI on marketing investments.
  • Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team.
  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and external agencies.
  • Represent the brand in industry forums, partnerships, and media engagements.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Deep understanding of the alcoholic beverages industry and premium brand marketing.
  • 15+ years of experience in FMCG / Alcobev marketing leadership roles.
  • Strong expertise in brand strategy, campaign execution, and portfolio management.
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling premium brands.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate insights into action.
  • Experience in digital marketing, influencer strategy, and experiential marketing.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • High creativity balanced with commercial acumen.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

MBA in Marketing from a reputed institute preferred.

Certifications in Digital Marketing / Brand Strategy are an added advantage.
