Job Description

Director of Marketing

We are looking for a dynamic Director of Marketing to lead and scale our marketing efforts globally. As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for driving brand‑led demand generation, pipeline acceleration, and enterprise revenue growth across North America and other global markets.

This role requires a strategic, hands‑on marketing leader with deep experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise GTM, and Account‑Based Marketing (ABM) — and increasingly, experience designing and deploying AI‑driven and agentic marketing systems to scale demand generation and regional growth.

Responsibilities

Demand Generation, Pipeline & Revenue Growth

  • Own and scale multi‑channel demand generation programs (digital, ABM, events, lifecycle) to drive qualified pipeline and revenue across enterprise accounts.
  • Design marketing motions that directly support large, multi‑year deal closures, not just top‑of‑funnel lead volume.
  • Build predictable, scalable pipeline engines that work across North America and global markets.

Agentic & AI‑Driven Marketing (Core Expectation)

  • Lead the adoption of AI‑first and agentic marketing approaches, including:
  • AI‑driven demand generation and personalization at scale
  • Intelligent ABM workflows (intent‑led targeting, dynamic content, automated nurture)
  • Agentic systems that improve speed, precision, and ROI of marketing execution
  • Reimagine how marketing teams operate by replacing manual workflows with AI‑powered agents where appropriate.
  • Partner closely with RevOps and Sales to ensure AI‑led insights translate into revenue outcomes.

ABM & Enterprise Marketing

  • Own and scale enterprise ABM programs targeting $1B+ revenue organizations.
  • Drive deeply personalized engagement across complex buying committees (CPO, CFO, CIO, Procurement, IT, Risk).
  • Ensure ABM efforts are tightly aligned to account strategy, opportunity stages, and renewal cycles.

Sales & Marketing Alignment

  • Act as a true partner to enterprise sales leadership, owning:
  • Sales enablement strategies
  • Opportunity air‑cover programs
  • Content and campaigns designed to move stalled deals forward
  • Align marketing KPIs tightly to revenue metrics (pipeline, win‑rate, deal velocity).

Events, Field & Thought Leadership

  • Lead high‑impact field marketing programs, including executive roundtables, industry conferences, virtual events, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Use events as pipeline accelerators and deal‑influence levers, not just brand exercises.

Content, Digital & Growth Strategy

  • Oversee enterprise‑grade content, SEO, PPC, ABM ads, website optimization, and lifecycle programs.
  • Ensure all content reinforces Zycus positioning as an AI‑first, agentic procurement leader.
  • Drive experimentation and continuous optimization using data and AI‑driven insights.

Partner & Alliance Marketing

  • Collaborate with consulting firms, system integrators (SIs), and ecosystem partners to develop joint GTM and enterprise outreach programs.
  • Leverage partners as trust‑accelerators in competitive enterprise deals.

Marketing Analytics & ROI

  • Own marketing analytics, attribution, and ROI measurement.
  • Build dashboards and decision systems that clearly link marketing activity → pipeline → revenue.
  • Use AI and automation to improve forecasting accuracy and decision‑making speed.

Qualifications

Must‑Have

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 5+ years in senior / leadership roles
  • Proven success marketing enterprise SaaS platforms (procurement, supply chain, spend management, or adjacent enterprise domains preferred)
  • Strong experience working directly with enterprise sales teams on large, complex deals
  • Hands‑on expertise with:
  • Demand generation & ABM
  • Marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo, etc.)
  • CRM (Salesforce)
  • Analytics and attribution frameworks

Strongly Preferred (Differentiators)

  • Experience building or deploying AI‑led / agentic marketing systems, such as:
  • AI‑driven ABM or demand engines
  • Automated regional GTM scaling using AI workflows
  • Personalization engines or intelligent nurture systems
  • Experience owning regional or global GTM (North America, EMEA, APAC)
  • Demonstrated ability to scale marketing from 1 → N regions using technology and systems, not just headcount
