General responsibilities:
- Understand marketing campaign strategy and performance goals for assigned programs and projects
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, communicating with broader team members effectively across all internal channels to ensure clarity
- Uphold RSM brand standards and best practices
- Provide critical thinking about campaign approach and tactical execution
- Proactively manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Actively seek out and participate in skills development training, as defined by career development goals -- 25%.
Email and marketing automation responsibilities:
- Design, execute and optimize email marketing campaigns for RSM US and RSM Canada marketing and brand programs
- Understand program and channel benchmarks, monitor campaigns to meet or exceed
- Recommend copy, design and format adjustments to improve open and click-through rates
- Champion testing to improve data-driven decision making
- Accurately connect Marketo campaigns to CRM to ensure data flow to support defined measurement strategy
- Contribute to reporting for demand generation campaigns
- Review peer campaigns for second set of eyes accuracy, collaborate on problem-solving
- Participate in power user training and office hours to ensure consistency across enterprise
- Identify opportunities for process, campaign or platform strategy improvements and bring forward to leadership -- 65%.
Other duties as assigned - 10%.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, digital marketing or computer science (preferred), or 4 years equivalent business experience
- Marketo certification (or ability to achieve within 6 months), preferred
TECHNICAL/SOFTSKILLS
- Expert understanding of Marketo suite of tools; required
- Expert understanding of email marketing and multichannel marketing automation; required
- Experience with sales and marketing channel integration
- Awareness of data sources across marketing tech stack (Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Marketo, CRM, HootSuite, Google, SEMrush, etc)
- Experience with Workfront project management tool a plus
- Awareness of global data and consumer privacy regulations and best practices, preferred
- Strong command of American English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders in the US and Canada.
EXPERIENCE
- 6+yearsofexperienceinemail marketing and marketing automation experience, preferably within a large, global organization or professional services environment
- Deep understanding of buyer journey, preferably in B2B environment
