Job description
What will you do
- Serve as a technical lead for email marketing, advising, and building sophisticated programs and system architecture.
- Perform system maintenance and administration tasks in the marketing automation system (Eloqua), enforcing standard methodologies and data governance regulations.
- Perform day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time and dynamic content, and automation-enabled campaigns.
- Understand email technology and data sources to deliver incremental growth.
- Enforce email list hygiene rules to ensure deliverability.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation, and other aspects of email and landing page execution.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and brand consistency in communications.
- Offer thoughtful insights, advice and recommendations regarding email tactics and opportunities for contact and email optimization.
- Guide technical decisions and help provide solutions to the production teams.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science or related major required.
Experience
- 5-7 years of proven experience in Eloqua, including system administration and complex campaigns (Certifications preferred).
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in marketing automation and web page publication.
- Proficiency in web coding languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience or familiarity with web content publishing platforms (Adobe Experience Manager) and project management software (Workfront).
- Strong time management skills, attention to detail, prioritization abilities, and a drive to take ownership of issues and tasks.
- Experience with privacy regulations such as GDPR, CASL, and CAN-SPAM Act.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong command of the English language (written and verbal)
