Job Description

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Bridge business needs and technical implementation, ensuring alignment between product vision and development execution.
  • Define project scopes and guide the development team in creating cutting-edge solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and designers, to deliver high-quality software products that align with business objectives.
  • Manage the product backlog, ensuring transparency and clarity for the development team, which enhances efficiency and productivity.
  • Work closely with the Product Lead to prioritize new features and align on product vision, directly influencing the product roadmap.
  • Break down and refine specifications with development teams and business analysts, facilitating effective communication and project execution.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions and ensure that all requirements are traceable and aligned with business objectives.
  • Contribute to system design, analysing existing systems for improvement and defining requirements for data structures and mathematical models.
  • Provide test scenarios and conduct user acceptance testing, ensuring that releases meet quality standards and user requirements.
  • Support operational teams in customer onboarding and troubleshooting, playing a crucial role in enhancing client satisfaction and product usability.

What Were Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years experience working as a product owner or Business Analyst or in quality assurance within a software development environment.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and experience with agile tools like JIRA.
  • Basic knowledge of programming (Python, JavaScript), SQL and experience with AWS cloud-based technologies and services.

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to effectively facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and resolve issues.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage expectations and ensure project deliverables meet business needs.
  • A collaborative mindset, willing to work closely with product owners and the development team to achieve common goals.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive industry, providing valuable insights into market needs.
  • Familiarity with data science and machine learning concepts, enhancing the ability to contribute to advanced software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira) to support project management.
  • Proven experience in managing product backlogs and facilitating user acceptance testing.
