Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, high-accountability, and results-driven Managing Director to lead our Mumbai-based Office.

This role will assume day-to-day leadership responsibility for the India office, overseeing operational execution, workforce performance, business continuity, cross-functional coordination, and site leadership across multiple operational and support functions.

The Managing Director will represent the Progriz brand on-site and serve as the primary operational leader for this office location. This individual will drive a high-performance culture centered around accountability, urgency, execution discipline, operational rigor, and measurable business outcomes.

This is not a symbolic leadership role. We are seeking a hands-on operator capable of managing complexity, navigating strong personalities, improving organizational performance, and driving execution in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.

The ideal candidate combines operational leadership, people accountability, business acumen, and strong execution instincts with a high-energy, doer mentality. This candidate would have minimum 10 years of prior experience in a senior executive role such as EVP, Managing Director, COO, CEO or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities

Site Leadership & Business Operations

  • Serve as the senior on-site operational leader for the Mumbai office.
  • Lead all day-to-day office operations and ensure organizational continuity.
  • Establish and maintain a high-accountability, high-performance operating environment.
  • Ensure alignment between India operations and U.S leadership priorities.
  • Maintain operational discipline, urgency, professionalism, and execution standards across all functions.
  • Drive organizational execution cadence and ensure leadership directives are implemented effectively.

Revenue Operations & Business Optimization

  • Partner with executive leadership on Revenue Operations (RevOps) initiatives, workflow optimization, productivity improvement, and operational scalability.
  • Establish KPI visibility and operational reporting frameworks across departments.
  • Use operational insight and data analysis to improve organizational throughput, productivity, and execution quality.
  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and structural gaps and implement corrective action quickly.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across all operational functions.

Financial Oversight & Operational Performance

  • Maintain visibility into office operating costs, productivity metrics, staffing efficiency, and business performance.
  • Support budgeting discipline and operational cost management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve ROI, operational leverage, and workforce productivity.
  • Monitor operational metrics and provide executive-level reporting and visibility.

Team Leadership & Accountability

  • Oversee multi-functional operational and support teams housed within the Mumbai office.
  • Hold leaders and employees accountable for execution quality, professionalism, productivity, and outcomes.
  • Coach managers and team leaders to improve operational effectiveness and leadership capability.
  • Drive a culture centered around ownership, urgency, responsiveness, and measurable performance.
  • Ensure operational consistency and strong leadership standards across departments.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Teams/functions may include:

  • Administrative or Other Support roles
  • Immigration Support
  • Application Specialists
  • Bench Sales
  • PMOs
  • Senior Technical SMEs
  • Shared Services
  • Internal Operations
  • Future Growth Functions

Cross-Business Communication

  • Maintain strong communication with U.S. and UK leadership teams.
  • Provide visibility into operational risks, workforce concerns, business challenges, and opportunities.
  • Serve as a trusted operational bridge between global leadership teams and the India Office.
  • Escalate issues proactively and maintain operational transparency.

Ideal Leadership Profile

The ideal candidate is a high-energy operational leader with strong execution instincts and the ability to command respect in fast-paced, commercially driven environments.

This individual combines operational discipline with urgency, accountability, and a strong bias toward action. The successful candidate must be capable of maintaining leadership presence, responsiveness, and decision-making quality during extended operational hours aligned to U.S. business operations.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Strong executive presence and leadership maturity
  • High-output, doer mentality — not purely strategic or advisory

  • Confidence navigating strong personalities and complex organizational dynamics
  • Hands-on leadership style with willingness to engage directly in operational challenges

  • High stamina, responsiveness, and pace of execution
  • Ability to build structure while maintaining execution speed
  • Naturally high energy with the ability to sustain pace, urgency, and responsiveness throughout demanding workdays
  • Self-driven executor who consistently pushes initiatives forward without waiting for direction
  • Operates with intensity, ownership, and strong internal drive
  • Brings momentum to teams and elevates execution energy across the organization
  • Thrives in fast-moving environments with high expectations and constant operational demands
  • Mentally resilient with strong work ethic and execution stamina
