We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager, Transaction management Derivatives

In This Role, You Will

  • The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of the operational processing environment in Investment / Middle Office Operations with Derivatives knowledge.
  • The role holder will be performing day-to-day operations in Derivatives and Transaction management team.
  • Undertake/participate in projects for improvement in delivery quality and/or timeliness. Perform UAT testing as and when required.
  • Identify and reduce manual processes for enhanced operational control. Support and implement technology upgradation. Ensure governance on all daily/weekly tracker updated by team.
  • Update all management MI by the stipulated deadlines.
  • Perform any additional responsibilities that may be required by the Supervisor in support of the ongoing management and development of the division.

To Be Successful, You Will

  • Experience in running Middle Office / trade support function with international financial institutions. Good understanding of Fund Service model and the role of the Middle Office in it's business context.
  • Proven knowledge of Derivative Management gained within the Investment Bank/ Fund Services Industry, specifically exposure to OTC Derivative products.
  • A working knowledge of Securities Trading confirmation and settlement procedures and market practice, including the use of Electronic Trade Confirmations and SWIFT settlement message types.
  • Strong risk assessment, control and testing skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of power point presentations, MS-excel and workflows.
  • Experience working on Aladdin platform.
  • Knowledge on Trade platforms like Calypso/MARKIT/Geneva/Trade Flow /TLM /Multifonds. Knowledge in the use of Bloomberg and/or Reuters.
  • Basic knowledge in custody, brokerage, depository, Clearing agent and reconciliations.
