Role: Operations Associate
About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and meticulous Operations Associate to join our operations team. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations, contributing directly to our mission of revolutionizing the financial landscape in India.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operational tasks including cash flow management and NAV computation
- Conduct timely reconciliations, trade processing, settlements, and trade reporting
- Maintain accurate daily cash positions, expense accruals, and income accruals
- Ensure compliance with KYC norms and support investor onboarding processes
- Process investor subscriptions and redemptions with accuracy and timeliness
- Support finalization of taxation matters, including TDS, GST, and other regulatory requirements
- Assist in closing books of accounts for mutual fund schemes
- Coordinate seamlessly with service providers such as banks, RTA, custodians, and fund accountants
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and support decision-making
- Proactively identify process inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and implement improvements
Qualifications & Experience
- Min Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or relevant field (preferred)
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in operations within BFSI or mutual funds industry
- Strong foundational knowledge of cash flow management, trade processing, accounting, and taxation
- Proven record of taking ownership and delivering results in a regulated environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (advanced Excel skills preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
