About the Team

The Human Resources and People Strategy team at Navi manages the entire employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and HR operations to employee engagement and development. They partner closely with both tech and non-tech business teams to design and implement strategies that attract, retain, and develop top talent, ensuring a thriving, high-performance organizational culture.

About the Role

We are looking for a high impact Manager - Talent Acquisition to lead end-to-end hiring. for critical business functions while managing and developing a team of recruiters. This role requires a hands-on people manager who can operate both strategically and tactically, drive hiring excellence, and act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders. The incumbent will balance team management / mentoring with individual contributor (IC) responsibilities for complex hiring, ensuring quality, speed, and scalability in talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Business Partnering

● Partner with business leaders to understand workforce plans and translate

them into hiring strategies.

● Act as a strategic advisor on talent market trends, hiring feasibility, and

competitive intelligence.

● Build long-term talent pipelines for critical and niche roles.

● Strong strategic thinking with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

People Management

● Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3 - 4 Talent Acquisition Spocs.

● Set clear performance goals and ensure continuous capability building.

● Foster a high-performance, ownership-driven culture within the TA team.

Hands-on Recruitment (IC Role)

● Manage end-to-end hiring for high-priority roles when required.

● Drive sourcing through multiple channels (LinkedIn, referrals, databases, direct

sourcing).

● Conduct initial assessments and ensure a strong candidate experience.

Process Excellence & Analytics

● Own recruitment metrics such as TAT, quality of hire, and pipeline health.

● Use data and analytics to identify bottlenecks and continuously improve hiring processes.

● Drive standardization of recruitment frameworks, interview processes, and stakeholder governance.

Stakeholder Management

● Manage senior stakeholders across business, HR, and leadership teams.

● Set realistic expectations and proactively resolve hiring challenges.

● Ensure alignment between hiring demand and business priorities.

Must Haves

● 4+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 2 years in a people management role.

● Prior in-house TA experience preferred (startups, fintech, product or tech companies ideal).

● Demonstrated career growth and increasing responsibility across roles.

● Experience in handling both volume and niche hiring.
