Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential business opportunities by researching and evaluating prospective clients in the automobile and component manufacturing sector.
  • Generate qualified sales leads and initiate contact with key decision-makers.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations and pitches to new clients, clearly outlining the benefits and scope of Spectro's testing services.
  • Sell services by understanding client needs, developing customized solutions, and establishing strong client relationships.
  • Maintain and grow long-term relationships with both potential and existing clients by offering expert support and guidance.
  • Understand client budgets and tailor solutions to meet technical and financial requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and close deals with clients; secure first orders and drive repeat business.
  • Ensure high levels of after-sales support, including coordination with technical teams for seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor and ensure timely collection of payments from clients.
  • Conduct regular market intelligence and competitor analysis to refine go-to-market strategies.
  • Reconnect and revive business relationships with former clients and identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA with 8–10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the automobile industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the sales team of a Testing Laboratory is mandatory.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in technical or service-based B2B environments.
