Job Description

We are seeking a QA Manager to lead quality assurance efforts across our enterprise applications. This role will be responsible for overseeing testing activities across mobile, web, desktop, and integration platforms while driving improvements in automation coverage and overall testing practices. The selected candidate will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure reliable and scalable releases across a distributed global delivery model.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead QA team members while building a high-performing, delivery-focused quality engineering function.
• Lead QA planning and execution aligned to sprint and release timelines.
• Define and implement test strategies across mobile, web, and desktop applications.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and design discussions.
• Ensure adequate test coverage across functional, integration, and regression areas.
• Manage defect lifecycle including triage and root cause analysis.
• Drive improvements in regression cycle time through automation.
• Build new automation frameworks or enhance existing automation suites.
• Experience writing SQL queries for data validation, backend testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure automated test suites are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline to validate builds and support release readiness.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA team members.
• Collaborate with global Product and Engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Track and communicate testing progress, risks, and release readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
• Prior experience in a QA Lead or QA Manager capacity.
• Experience testing mobiles applications, web applications, desktop-based applications, and integration platforms
• Strong understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Experience building automation initiatives from the ground up or managing existing automation frameworks.
• Experience with UI automation using Cypress and Android-iOS mobile automation using Appium. • Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with global stakeholders.
• Experience testing enterprise-level business applications.
• Experience supporting globally distributed teams.
• Exposure to API and integration testing in microservices environments.
• Experience improving or scaling automation practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
