Role: Manager – Project Execution (Retail Fit-Out)
Department: Projects
Location: Trichy/Tiruchirappalli
Experience: 7–10 years in retail fit-out / interior project execution (preferably with retail chains, QSRs)
Role Summary
Lead the on-ground execution of retail fit-out projects, ensuring stores are delivered on time, within budget, and as per defined quality and brand standards. The role involves strong coordination with internal teams, vendors, and landlords to enable seamless store launches.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Delivery
- Drive end-to-end execution of retail store fit-outs across multiple locations
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, milestones, and launch schedules
- Monitor site progress through regular visits and reports
- Ensure execution aligns with approved drawings, BOQs, and brand guidelines
- Identify risks proactively and implement mitigation plans
Site Management
- Supervise on-site activities and ensure quality workmanship
- Validate measurements, layouts, and execution details at site
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements
- Conduct site audits and snag closures prior to handover
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants for smooth execution
- Track vendor deliverables and ensure timely mobilization
- Evaluate contractor performance and ensure adherence to SLAs
- Resolve site-level issues and escalations promptly
Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with:
- Business Development team for site readiness
- Design/Brand teams for drawing approvals and clarifications
- Mall/Landlord teams for permissions and infrastructure readiness
- Ensure alignment across stakeholders for seamless project execution
Cost & Commercial Control
- Monitor project budgets and control cost overruns
- Validate bills, measurements, and work completion for contractor payments
- Support cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality
- Ensure closure of projects with accurate cost reconciliation
Quality Assurance
- Ensure all materials and finishes meet brand specifications
- Conduct periodic quality checks and enforce standards
- Escalate deviations and ensure corrective actions
Store Handover & Launch
- Ensure stores are delivered in a launch-ready condition
- Coordinate final inspections, snag closure, and approvals
- Support store opening activities in alignment with operations team
