Job description
We are currently seeking a Senior Programming and Scheduling Expert for one of our major projects, which involves constructing India's longest extra-dosed cable-stay bridge, spanning 19.20 kilometers over the Brahmaputra River in the states of Assam and Meghalaya.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering.
- Post-Graduation in Construction Management or Certificate Course in Construction Management or Certificate Course in Contract Management or equivalent from a recognized university.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in civil works.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Construction Planning/Project Manager in supervision/execution of major bridge projects with a focus on preparing work program schedules.
- Experience in the construction/supervision/execution of at least two major bridge projects.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform specific and moderate portions of broader assignments under the guidance of an experienced engineer.
- Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
- Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
- Propose solutions for new problems using modifications of standard procedures or methods from previous assignments.
- Identify discrepancies in project results and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with agreed-upon budgets and schedules with minimal supervision.
- Independently execute tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
- Demonstrate developmental experience in professional engineering roles.
