Job Description

Position:Product Marketing Manager

Nissan Motor Company

Location: India (Gurgaon)

Department: Marketing, Product Strategy

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end New Model Launch planning from market analysis and positioning to Go-to-Market execution ensuring alignment with Nissan's company goals.
  • Manage full Product Lifecycle initiatives including refresh strategies and performance optimization to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Develop and oversee Pricing and Profit Management strategies, balancing competitiveness, margins and customer value in the Indian premium and mainstream segments.
  • Develop right market fit Product for Nissan Brand and ensure life cycle proposals (Volume, Mix, gross profit, VME)
  • Coordinates with Product Planning, Market Intelligence, Program Development in developing the plan

Life Cycle management of assigned Product line-up to ensure one product refreshment

  • Coordinate with Program Development, Product Planning and MI for inputs and freezing the plan

Finalize M&S inputs for future products - Contract Database, Volume logic, Price Positioning, FMI & VME spends.

  • Coordinate with Product Planning, Program Development, Market Intelligence, Marcom & other relevant functions

Lead the launch plan of assigned products for product GTM

  • Plan, Co-ordinate with upstream on program schedule
  • Develop launch plan in coordination with Marcom, PR & other relevant functions

Develop strategy for the Product Pricing in line with Market development to ensure desired product competitiveness

  • Tracking of Price movement of competition
  • Periodic review of the same and propose price up / repositioning as per need

Define & Develop action plan to deliver Sales Volume & Profit as per target

  • Co-ordinate with all the stakeholders - Sales, Marketing Planning, Marcom for development and execution of plan

Product owner to cascade relevant information for sales training & PR communication

  • Co-ordinate defining & communicating key product messages for sales training, PR communication, media agency & other relevant functions.
