Job Description

The Packaging development engineer will be responsible to work for various packaging projects. He/ She will work with cross functional teams to develop, test, validate, and commercialize package solutions / Medical devices for both new and existing products. He/she will support continuous improvements as well as problem resolution and redesign when required for marketed products. The candidate will work on new product development, preparation of technical documentation for regulatory files (i.e., FDA 510k and CE mark technical files), performance analysis, risk management, and design transfer to manufacturing.

Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to lead a team and oversee critical operations within Piramal Pharma Limited. This role involves strategic planning, operational excellence, and team development to achieve business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:**

  • Lead and manage a team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing environment.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to achieve organizational goals and streamline processes.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring successful completion within defined parameters.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, operational status, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
  • Identify and implement best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the department.
  • Address and resolve operational issues, escalating complex problems to senior leadership when necessary.
  • Contribute to the recruitment, training, and development of new team members.

Job Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry, Business Administration, Engineering).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of successful team leadership and management.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, FDA).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and achieve targets.
