QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Manual Testing: Perform thorough manual testing to ensure the software meets functional and non-functional requirements.
• Automation Testing: Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
• Test Documentation: Create detailed test plans, test cases, and other test documentation.
• Web Services & API Testing: Test and validate Web Services, RESTful APIs, and integration with backend systems.
• Performance & Security Testing: Conduct performance and security testing to ensure high-quality, secure applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the development and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Reporting: Track and report defects, progress, and issues to management and the development team.
• Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on testing processes and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in manual testing and automation testing.
• Strong experience with Java and Selenium for automation testing.
• Familiarity with Web Services, RESTful APIs, backend systems, performance, and security-related testing.
• Experience in QTP is not acceptable for this role.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
