Role Overview

PIF is seeking a Partnerships & Events Manager to lead CSR and institutional fundraising, HNI engagement, and strategic partnerships, while also managing high-impact events and stakeholder engagements. The role requires strong relationship management, strategic thinking, and the ability to independently drive partnerships and events that advance PIF's mission.

Key Responsibilities

Partnerships & fundraising

·      Identify, develop, and manage partnerships with corporates, foundations, HNIs, and international donors — supported by AI-powered prospect research and CRM automation.

·      Design and execute CSR proposals and grant applications aligned with partner mandates and PIF's mission, using AI writing tools to improve speed and quality of submissions.

·      Build and manage a structured donor engagement cycle — proposals, reporting, stewardship — with AI-supported tracking and personalised outreach at scale.

·      Cultivate long-term relationships through regular outreach, industry networking, and curated engagement events.

Communications & visibility

·      Partner with the communications team to craft compelling narratives, donor proposals, and impact stories — leveraging AI tools for first drafts, data visualisation, and content repurposing.

·      Produce donor-facing materials: impact reports, pitch decks, newsletters, and case studies, using AI to streamline production without compromising quality.

·      Maintain consistent, credible messaging across PIF's campaigns and external platforms.

Events & stakeholder engagement

·      Plan and deliver donor events, policy roundtables, thought-leadership summits, and fundraising gatherings — end to end.

·      Represent PIF at CSR conclaves, philanthropic forums, and sector networks to grow visibility and pipeline.

·      Manage high-profile interactions including government-industry dialogues and HNI meetings.

Strategy & entrepreneurial leadership

·      Contribute to PIF's resource-mobilisation strategy by identifying new partnership and funding models.

·      Build systems and workflows — including AI-powered tools — to scale outreach, reporting, and partner management independently.

·      Work effectively within lean teams, taking full ownership of outcomes and shipping new initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master's degree in Business, Public Policy, Development Studies, Communications, or a related field
  • 6–8 years of experience in partnerships, fundraising, CSR, business development, or events within think tanks, NGO's, consulting, or Corporate CSR
  • Strong understanding of India's CSR and philanthropy ecosystem incuding evolving donor priorities and regulatory context.
  • Demonstrated experience in fundraising, donor management, and event execution
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable using AI tools (LLMs, CRM automation, research agents) to aplify productivity and quality of output.
  • Proven ability to independently plan and execute high profile stakeholder events with minimal oversight
  • Entrepreneurial, self starting and systems oriented- you build processes not just relationships

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of policy, partnerships, and impact
  • A collaborative and mission-driven work environment
  • Exposure to senior national and international stakeholders
  • Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
