EMS Sales Manager – Capital Equipment (SMT / Electronics Manufacturing)

Role Overview
The role involves driving sales of capital equipment and manufacturing solutions to Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) companies across North India. The candidate will manage end-to-end sales cycles, engage with plant and procurement teams, and build long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new EMS customers across North India
- Drive sales of SMT equipment, test systems, and manufacturing automation solutions
- Manage complete sales cycle: lead generation to order closure
- Engage with plant heads, manufacturing engineers, and procurement teams
- Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with clients
- Understand customer production challenges and propose suitable solutions
- Work closely with application/technical teams for solution alignment
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and negotiate contracts
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and pricing benchmarks
- Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline updates
- Support installation coordination and post-sales follow-up
- Achieve assigned revenue and order booking targets
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
- 4–5 years of experience in capital equipment sales to EMS / electronics manufacturing companies
Technical Skills
- Understanding of SMT line equipment (Pick & Place, Reflow, AOI, SPI)
- Knowledge of PCB assembly and electronics manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with ATE / testing equipment is an advantage
- Ability to handle techno-commercial discussions
- Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and sales reporting
