Job Responsibilities:

• Develop departmental goals for increased productivity, improved efficiencies, and enhanced patient service.
• Vigilantly monitor cost management in alignment with patient volumes and revenue generation
• Generate business impact through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Approve departmental operating and capital budgets ensuring sufficient sources and personnel are available to accomplish departmental objectives within established financial guidelines
• Oversee continuous quality improvement initiatives by providing direction to department leaders and monitoring of interdisciplinary involvement in clinical projects
• Promote patient safety by reporting of issues through established channels and participating as requested in safety initiatives.
• Monitor service line growth and recommend strategies based on operational statistics.
• Prepare and monitor MIS reports and business performance metrics pertaining to operations to discover insights that will support key business decisions.

7. Manage the hospital's budget and resources to optimize operational performance and minimize waste.

8. Implement and enforce policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

9. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to support the hospital's overall goals and objectives.

10. Act as a liaison with external stakeholders, such as government agencies, vendors, and community organizations, to represent the hospital's operational interests.
