JOB SUMMARY

We are hiring a Manager – MeasurementAnalytics to lead the measurement and evaluation of strategic initiatives within the Finance organization at Lowe's. This role designs and oversees statistical frameworks that measure the financial impact of retail initiatives and enable data-driven investment decisions.

The role partners closely with Finance leadership, business teams, technology groups, and vendor partners to ensure initiatives are evaluated objectively and insights translate into better business outcomes. The position requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders up to the VP level using data and analytics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for statistical measurement and analytics.
  • Provide coaching, technical guidance, and clear prioritization of analytical work.
  • Partner with Finance Business Partners, Merchandising, Store Operations, Technology, Data teams, and Vendor Partners to align measurement with business objectives.
  • Promote adoption of data-driven decision making across stakeholders.
  • Present initiative performance and insights to leadership, including regular VP-level reviews.
  • Translate analytical results into clear business recommendations.
  • Challenge assumptions and investment decisions using objective measurement and data. Influence decisions and challenge stakeholders constructively using data.

Measurement & Analytics Oversight

  • Oversee the design and execution of A/B tests and measurement frameworks.
  • Ensure statistical rigor in experiment design and result interpretation.
  • Guide development of analytics solutions using Python, SQL, and statistical methods.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, statistical modeling, or data science.
  • 3+ years of experience leading analytics teams.

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in A/B testing, regression modeling, hypothesis testing, and time-series analysis.
  • Highly proficient in Python and SQL.
  • Experience analyzing large retail or transactional datasets.

Business & Leadership Skills

  • Strong business communication skills and ability to explain complex analytics to senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across Finance, technology teams, and vendor partners.
  • Ability to influence decisions and challenge stakeholders constructively using data.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
