Manager - IT
Location- Goa
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Manager to oversee and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows servers, Active Directory, firewall configuration, cybersecurity best practices, and IT asset management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and Active Directory (AD) environments.
- Configure and manage firewall settings to maintain robust network security.
- Implement and oversee cybersecurity measures, including endpoint server security and other best practices.
- Maintain and manage user access and role-based permission settings across various platforms.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software, and oversee their lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IT infrastructure and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth operations.
- Support and educate staff on best practices related to cybersecurity and access management.
- Assist in planning and implementing future IT projects and system upgrades.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge and implementation experience in Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
- Proficiency in firewall configuration and management.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and experience with endpoint server security.
- Knowledge of user provisioning and IT access management.
- Experience with IT asset management, including inventory and lifecycle tracking.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
