Proposed designation: Manager, HR Operations HR Delivery
Location: Bangalore
Work timings: 6 :30 PM to 3:00 AM IST
Willingness to travel for business purposes domestically and internationally
Role Summary:
This is a critical leadership role within our organisation and will be accountable for the delivery and management of the India-based HR delivery team. This will be made up of Business Partnering, Centre of Excellence and HR Shared Services delivery team which will be a critical component of the Service Delivery model. The role responsibilities include strategically driving both the operational and digital transformation required to support the delivery model ensuring operational effectiveness which strongly aligns with the Group priorities.
Strategic HR transformation & leadership
• Partner with both US HR leaders and decision makers to understand business imperatives and articulate people priorities
• Play an integral role on the HR leadership team, bringing credibility and strong partnership methods and contribute to overall business decisions
• Responsible for the transition of work from US to the delivery Centre's ensuring the right work is in the right place, driving optimization and transformation
• Influence and challenge business decisions from a people perspective, ensuring alignment with company culture and long-term goals
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of HR activities in line with Group HR standards and compliance requirements
• Act as an escalation point for complex HR issues and provide practical solution.
Team Building & Leadership
• Hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing HR delivery team in India
• Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to team members
• Oversee and actively participate in HR processes such as talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and HR operations
Talent management and succession planning
• Lead talent reviews, succession planning and career development initiatives for key roles and top talent within the business
• Enable performance management processes to ensure clarity, accountability and career growth for colleagues
• Ensure the delivery team foster a culture of continuous learning to ensure a high performing team culture
Governance and Compliance
• Participate in regular reviews with Group HR and business teams to assess performance, identify gaps, and agree on improvement plans
• Responsible for delivery outcomes to US
• Provide the business with relevant metrics, data and insights, to make HR related business decisions
Transition & Change Management
• Support the delivery of core HR systems to the Group domain
• Enable smooth transition of additional HR workstreams to the offshore team.
• Implement change management frameworks and guide the India team through transitions.
• Experience in the implementation of business transformation, strategic HR initiatives and processes
• Liaise with other functions within HR and others such as Finance, Payroll and Legal team based on business requirements
Work experience
• 12–15 years of progressive HR Operations experience preferably for US clients, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
•The ability to drive HR transformation and transition
• Proven experience in hiring, training, and managing HR teams.
• Exposure to global HR operations/shared services and working with international stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of HR processes, compliance, and operational governance.
• Good appreciation of Gen AI, Agentic process transformation and skills in tools such as Copilot.
• Familiarity with agentic AI use cases.
