Job Description

Experience: 5–8 years in HR Generalist roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Experience in hospitality, retail, FMCG, or multi-location businesses preferred.

Location: Shahpur Jat, New Delhi

Work Schedule: 6 days working (Sunday off)

Work Timings: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Job Summary

As a Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end HR operations, ensuring statutory compliance, and strengthening employee engagement across the organization. The role manages payroll, recruitment coordination, onboarding, performance support, employee relations, and compliance with labour laws, while maintaining HR systems and data integrity. The position works closely with Operations Head to align HR processes with business objectives and drive operational efficiency.

Roles & responsibilities

  • Managing End-to-End HR Operations-Manage daily HR functions including recruitment coordination, onboarding, payroll processing, attendance management, and full & final settlements.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding-Support timely hiring through multiple sourcing channels and ensure structured induction programs across all business units.
  • Payroll & Statutory Compliance-Administer accurate and timely payroll while ensuring full compliance with central, state, and local labour laws and statutory requirements.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement-Address employee grievances, conduct investigations, guide managers on employee matters, and drive engagement initiatives such as R&R and team-building activities.
  • Performance Management Support-Define KPIs, support appraisal frameworks, and align performance improvement initiatives with organizational goals.
  • HR Systems & Data Governance-Maintain HRMS accuracy, ensure employee data confidentiality, and generate HR analytics and reports for informed decision-making.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Audits-Stay updated on labour law changes, conduct internal compliance audits, maintain statutory documentation, and coordinate regulatory reporting.
  • Risk & Policy Management-Identify compliance risks, implement preventive controls, strengthen HR policies, and collaborate with leadership/legal advisors to mitigate organizational risk.

Qualifications

  • Master Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.

Experience

  • 5–8 years in HR Generalist roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Experience in hospitality, retail, FMCG, or multi-location businesses preferred.
  • Experience in multi-location workforce management
  • Exposure to blue-collar + white-collar workforce
  • Managed payroll for at least 80–150+ employees
  • Experience in compliance inspections or labour department interactions
  • Handled employee disciplinary cases & domestic inquiries (if applicable)
