JOB SUMMARY
This role reports to the Head, Product Strategy & Design Section and leads the planning, development, and governance of financial literacy content, ensuring quality, compliance, and effective content delivery to support member education and engagement.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Financial Literacy (FL) Content Planning & Development
- Lead end-to-end development of financial literacy content priorities and narratives by translating member insights, data, and research into clear content direction and requirements.
- Own content quality and governance by setting standards, reviewing/approving key materials, and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with EPF guidelines.
- Drive decision-making on content design and messaging trade-offs (tone, complexity, channel fit) to maximise comprehension, engagement, and intended behavioural outcomes.
2) Content Plan Management (Financial Education) & Execution
- Lead the Financial Education content roadmap (themes, channels, formats) by prioritising initiatives, sequencing delivery, and aligning to agreed outcomes and target audiences.
- Steer cross-functional execution by convening stakeholders, defining scope and deliverables, and securing endorsement/approvals for proposals and content plans.
- Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement by tracking delivery quality and impact signals, resolving issues, and institutionalising learnings into the next content cycle.
3) Industry Research, Benchmarking & Reporting
- Lead benchmarking and industry research to identify leading practices, emerging content formats, and strategic opportunities to elevate EPF's financial literacy delivery.
- Translate insights into executive-ready recommendations, decision options, and implications for content strategy, resource needs, and delivery approach.
- Own reporting outputs by producing clear reports for endorsement/approval, maintaining evidence and artifacts, and ensuring traceability of key decisions and outcomes.
4) Support to Financial Literacy Strategy Initiative (FLI)
- Lead the content workstream that supports the FLI strategy initiative by shaping content-related inputs to frameworks, playbooks, and implementation deliverables.
- Drive stakeholder alignment for FLI-related content by setting communication narratives, coordinating inputs across teams, and ensuring readiness for rollout.
- Serve as EPF's SME for FL Content Management by defining and enforcing content standards, templates, and review mechanisms across channels.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Malaysian citizen
- Pass in Bahasa Melayu, including the oral test, at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
- Posses a Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree with honours in a related field (e.g., Economics, Finance, Business, Marketing/Communications, Education, Psychology/Behavioural Science, Public Policy, Data/Analytics) from recognised universities or equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government.
- Posses professional certification in financial planning/finance (e.g., Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- At least 10 -13 years of relevant experience in research and development (R&D), content governance/management, and/or financial education/financial literacy initiatives.
- Strong end-to-end financial literacy content management experience, including translating strategy into clear narratives, themes, and channel-ready materials.
- Ability to turn member insights, behavioural data, and financial information into effective content that improves understanding, supports action, and remains accurate and compliant.
- Experience managing cross-divisional delivery and content governance, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders, uphold quality standards, and reduce reputational or compliance risk.
