Manager Customer Retention

Role Purpose

Work closely and jointly with the Bancassurance channel partner to ensure CHOICe achieves its business aspirations in line with AOP targets for New Business and Customer Retention, as defined in individual objective-setting sheets. The role focuses on driving productivity, ensuring timely submission-to-issuance, safeguarding customer and company interests, and building a strong, mutually beneficial partnership with channel partners.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development Sales Execution

Drive achievement of AOP targets for new business acquisition and customer retention.

Execute sales and customer retention strategies in coordination with Bancassurance partners.

Support channel partners in improving productivity and conversion ratios.

Customer Retention Servicing

Balance customer servicing activities with sales acquisition to ensure high persistency levels.

Monitor renewal performance and take corrective actions to improve retention.

Ensure seamless customer experience across the policy lifecycle.

Relationship Management

Build and strengthen relationships with Bancassurance channel partners.

Effectively manage partner expectations and resolve operational or service-related issues.

Enhance quality of engagement to create a sustainable, winwin business model.

Process Compliance

Facilitate end-to-end submission-to-issuance processes within agreed timelines.

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies/systems.

Protect customer and CHOICe interests by ensuring process discipline and compliance.

Team Management

Lead, guide, and motivate the team to achieve business and retention goals.

Track team performance, provide coaching, and ensure capability development.

Foster a performance-driven and customer-centric culture.

Key Skills Competencies

Strong understanding of Life Insurance Bancassurance models

Proven experience in customer retention persistency management

Relationship management and stakeholder handling

Team leadership and performance management

Process orientation with strong compliance mindset

Experience Qualification (Indicative)

58 years of experience in Life Insurance, preferably in Bancassurance

Prior experience in managing teams is mandatory
