The Team
The Communications Manager supports the Global People Office (GPO) People Experience (PX) team by delivering clear, consistent, and well-executed communications that strengthen the employee experience and reinforce the firm's people strategy. This role blends hands-on execution with coordination, analytics, and continuous improvement across internal, external, and social channels. The Communications Manager partners closely with GPO and cross-functional stakeholders to manage intake, prioritize requests, and ensure communications are timely, accurate, engaging, and easy to consume.
How You Will Contribute
- Communications Execution & Operations:
- Maintain and update core GPO communications trackers, including trackers for campaigns, call discussions, and ongoing initiatives.
- Lead and manage the New Managing Director (MD) email process, ensuring accurate content, timely delivery, appropriate approvals, and alignment with GPO messaging.
- Partner with stakeholders to review incoming requests, confirm scope, and prioritize work based on business needs, timelines, and available capacity.
- Populate and maintain campaign briefs, ensuring objectives, audiences, timelines, governance, and approvals are clearly documented.
- Populate PX presentation slides for Leadership, ensuring consistency in messaging, formatting, and visuals.
- Create agendas and meeting summaries for recurring GPO meetings, capturing key decisions, actions, risks, and follow-ups.
- Provide flexible support for PX special projects as business priorities evolve.
- Creative Channel Management:
- Serve as Creative Lead for GPO communications, owning imagery, templates, formats, and banners to ensure visual consistency and alignment with brand standards.
- Manage the Instagram intake process, ensuring all required components are received, drafting copy, selecting photos, and routing content through approvals.
- Schedule approved social media posts and share live links with requestors to help boost engagement and visibility.
- Monitor external platforms (e.g., Glassdoor, Indeed, Fishbowl) for negative, sensitive, or reputationally impactful commentary, escalating themes and insights to appropriate stakeholders.
- Analytics, Insights & Optimization:
- Own and maintain the GPO analytics dashboard, tracking performance across channels and campaigns.
- Analyze survey data, engagement metrics, and sentiment signals to identify trends and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Conduct competitor analysis and A&M sentiment analysis related to the employer brand, summarizing insights and opportunities for improvement.
- Apply learnings from analytics and feedback to continuously refine messaging, formats, and processes.
- Technology, Tools & Process Improvement:
- Test, maintain, and support ongoing improvements to the GPO AI tool, ensuring accuracy, usability, and appropriate governance.
- Serve as the point of contact (POC) for GPO creative requests, coordinating inputs, timelines, approvals, and responses.
- Support the build-out and ongoing refinement of internal and external communications intake and approval processes to improve efficiency, clarity, and consistency.
- Demonstrate adaptability
Qualifications
- 8+ years supporting internal, external, and social communications within a corporate, professional services, or HR-focused environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent writing, editing, and content development skills, with strong attention to detail and quality.
- Comfort working with analytics, dashboards, survey data, and performance metrics to inform communications decisions.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive, confidential, or reputationally impactful content.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to provide guidance rather than simply execute requests.
- Awareness of global audiences and cultural considerations when supporting people-related communications.
- Flexibility and willingness to jump in where needed to support evolving GPO priorities.
