Role Summary

Join our central Talent Acquisition team as Talent Acquisition Manager. You will lead a lean TA team responsible for building efficient talent pipelines and delivering high-quality hiring across frontline and supervisory positions for Oberoi and Trident hotels in India. This is a strategic leadership role with hands-on elements, focused on team oversight, process optimization, stakeholder partnership, performance measurement, and driving improvements in hiring efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead, mentor, and develop a lean TA team, including work allocation, balancing requisition load, setting performance expectations, and providing regular coaching and feedback.

● Partner closely with hotel HR teams, hiring managers, and senior leadership to understand workforce needs, forecast requisition runway, align on priorities, and support high-impact stakeholder engagements.

● Oversee the full lifecycle of the recruitment process, personally handling escalated or complex requisitions while Specialists manage day-to-day execution.

● Drive the creation and publishing of performance dashboards, candidate and stakeholder NPS surveys, and regular MIS/reports to track key metrics such as time-to-hire, quality of hire, conversion rates, and pipeline health.

● Support candidate development initiatives and early retention efforts, including coordination on early warning mechanisms and post-hire check-ins.

● Optimize sourcing strategies and the effective use of ATS, workflow tools, and reporting mechanisms for better visibility and productivity.

● Contribute to employer branding initiatives and strengthening external talent pipelines in coordination with internal teams.

● Travel to properties and campuses as needed to support key stakeholder meetings, events, and talent engagement activities.

● Ensure exceptional candidate experience across the recruitment journey and support the VP – Talent Acquisition in aligning the TA function with overall business goals.

Key Skills & Competencies

● 7–12 years of experience in talent acquisition with proven expertise in full life cycle recruitment and team leadership (experience in hospitality, retail, BPO, or other high-volume service industries is preferred; strong leadership skills are essential).

● Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to guide, develop, and performance-manage a team.

● Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including workforce planning, forecasting, and building collaborative relationships.

● Deep understanding of TA processes, sourcing strategies, interviewing techniques, and recruitment metrics/dashboarding.

● Proficiency in ATS systems, workflow tools, advanced sourcing techniques, and MS Office with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.

● Demonstrated ability to implement NPS surveys, performance tracking mechanisms, and drive continuous process improvements through data.

● Collaborative, solution-oriented approach with willingness to work in shifts and travel to properties and campuses as required.

● Passion for service excellence and building high-quality talent for luxury hospitality environments.

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA in HR preferred).
