Job Description: Assistant Manager / Business Development Executive – Sales

Experience: 10–15 Years

Salary Range: ₹75,000 – ₹90,000 per month

Role Objective

We are seeking a seasoned Sales professional with deep expertise in the building materials industry, specifically focusing on Daylighting solutions, Facades, and Tensile Structures. As an AM/BDE, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing large-scale architectural projects, and building high-level relationships with developers, architects, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Proactively identify and penetrate new market segments for Daylighting and Tensile products across commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Project Specification: Work closely with Architects, Structural Consultants, and PMC (Project Management Consultants) to get Skyshade products specified in the early stages of project design.
  • Sales Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation and site visits to technical presentations, negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Technical Liaison: Understand complex architectural drawings and coordinate with the internal design/engineering teams to provide customized structural solutions to clients.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor pricing, and new technologies in facades and sustainable building materials.
  • Revenue Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets while maintaining healthy profit margins.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 10–15 years of proven sales experience in Building Materials, Facades, Skylights, or Tensile Structures.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Business Marketing. An MBA is a plus.
  • Network: A strong existing network of Tier-1 Architects, Developers, and Industrial Consultants in the Hyderabad region.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to read architectural blueprints and a basic understanding of structural stability for tensile/daylight systems.
  • Communication: Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch to C-suite executives and principal architects.
  • Soft Skills: Highly self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
