Position- Mainframe system Administrator / Analyst

Experience- 3 to 10 Yrs.

Location- Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Pune, Hyderabad & Bangalore

Notie period- Prefer Early Joiner.

Respponsibilties: -

Mainframe System Analyst to provide comprehensive system support for z/OS, DB2, and CICS environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

• Provide comprehensive system support for z/OS, DB2, and CICS environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

• Work closely with client mainframe administrators and cross-functional support teams to ensure seamless operations and issue resolution.

• Analyze system logs, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions to address performance bottlenecks or failures.

• Perform installations and upgrades of mainframe products, ensuring compatibility and stability across environments.

• Generate detailed reports on database and storage performance, analyze capacity trends, and develop actionable improvement plans.

• Monitor and optimize CICS performance by troubleshooting issues and enhancing transaction throughput to meet business needs.

• Generate and distribute daily, monthly, and ad-hoc reports to identify and address capacity and performance issues.

• Track and analyze system performance metrics, including MSU, database performance, and CICS utilization trends.

• Demonstrate flexibility in learning and adapting to new tools and technologies to support evolving business demands.

• Exhibit strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of technical challenges.

• Experience with automated scheduling tools like Zeke and Zena.

• Knowledge of COBOL, JCL, and REXX.

• Familiarity with output management tools like Mobius.

• Understanding of security compliance and disaster recovery planning.
